Dear Adam,

I want to thank you for LinkExchange Digest -- it is definitely one of the most informative, useful mailing lists I have ever had the pleasure of reading.  I don't know how long I've been subscribed, but it's been a good, long while.  I've never posted, because I've always felt very much out of my league among so many people who know so much more than I do.  But, while I regret never having a single idea I felt would have made a useful contribution, it's been a wonderful learning
experience for me.

I'm not getting out of the business, but I am out of LinkExchange itself.  It's a long story, but, in short, bCentral banned my site from LinkExchange because bC found a link, three levels down, on a site I link to, that bC found objectionable.  No amount of reasoning with bC has done any good, so I've given up trying. (How can you fight Microsoft?  You can't.)

I considered maintaining my subscription to LinkExchange Digest for the wealth of ideas and information I find there, but I can't in good conscience support anything sponsored by bCentral -- at least, knowingly, or any more than is absolutely necessary -- and it has become unbelievably irritating to see anything with the name "LinkExchange" stamped on it.

So thank you once again for all you and the rest of the list members have taught me over the years.  I'll miss the digest, very much.

With highest regards and best wishes,
JR
