I am sure you know that your digest would look great in HTML. I know the sort of reasons that you may have for going plain text. However, I would like you to consider that I for one of many would love to print off the content and read it over coffee etc. There is so much good stuff in here that I dont have the time to read over it via electronic form.
Just a suggestion, you may love it, you may hate it. I think that it would go down well with your readers and advertisers alike.
